Donning the men
Before the men is put on, be sure to use either
method 1
or
method 2
to don the tenugui, or towel, first. The tenugui goes on before the men.

Place your chin into the men.

Straighten the men while pulling on the men-himo to straighten the straps.

Tighten the men-himo by pulling outwards.

Tie into a hana-musubi style bow in the back, making sure that the bow, the knot, and the crossed men-himo are at eye level.

Straighten the men himo.
