Preparing the men to be worn

Before the men can be put on, it must first be prepared. The men is, perhaps, the most complex piece of equipment to don. If donned incorrectly, the men could quite possibly come undone during practice, or even be accidentally forcibly removed.

men

Bring the right strap, or men-himo around the back and up.

men

Pull the men-himo through the top grill of the men-gane or men grill.

men

Do the same for the other string (men-himo).

men

Roll the men-himo into even lengths, using your hand, and place inside the men.
